Merry Christmas!

Christmas this year was a pretty special day....it was a bit different than normal since it landed on a Sunday. Jesse and I usually go to the movies on Christmas, its become our thing, but we ended up seeing our movie a couple days before.

We had to wake Caleb and Kylar up around 8 a.m Christmas morning. They are kind of late sleepers. It was precious seeing their faces when they walked into the living room and saw what Santa left for them. This year we finally got to experience their excitement. The last few years they haven't really caught on and we had to get excited for them.

We spent an hour or so as a family opening up our gifts, then we got the kids in their new church clothes, and attended church with Jesse's family. Their bishop gave an amazing talk about how they are givers and receivers on Christmas. How it's important to truly understand the meaning of Christmas and how we should feel grateful for the presents that we receive. His words meant a lot to me and it's important to not get so caught up in what you are getting for Christmas and feeling disappointed when it's not something you wanted.
Getting a laugh in over what was in my stocking.

Jesse's favorite gifts for Christmas. He was happy about MW3.

They loved the train track.

Caleb in his stylish church outfit.

After church we went over to Jesse's parents home and opened up more gifts. It was a bit chaotic with children running all over the place and trying to get everyone their gifts, but we made it through and it was great. We had a lovely Christmas dinner that Terri cooked and we enjoyed relaxing for a few hours with everyone.

We spent the rest of the afternoon at home where our boys played with all their new toys, Jesse played his new game Modern Warfare 3, and I took a nap on the couch. We dressed Caleb and Kylar in their Toy Story pajama's that Grandma Farrer got them for Christmas and their new socks that my mom sent them. They were so stinking cute and were having so much fun modeling for me as I took pictures so Grandma could see.
Jesse gave Caleb a cool hairdo after his bath.

Best smile ever!

It was a pretty good holiday this year. We are hoping that next year we will be able to spend more time with my family and not being work so much in December. We are so grateful for our little ones, our friends, and our family. We want you all to know that we love you so very much and we appreciated everything that we received for Christmas. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this year.
Love this picture!! So precious.

Kylar loved his Diego backpack. He puts it on every chance he gets.
