Museum of Idaho

Jesse and I took our little ones to the Museum of Idaho for their Christmas theme. I figured why not, it's free admission and it would hopefully get us in the Christmas spirit. The both of us have been working non-stop since Thanksgiving, so we really haven't had any time for Christmas. Kind of a bummer, but what can you do. Anyway, the night that we went to the museum they had groups of choirs singing and they all sounded amazing. Sort of took me back to the good ol' days of high school when I was in choir. I thought they had some neat nativity scenes and cool old fashioned toys. Caleb and Kylar didn't care for any of it and behaved poorly through the whole thing so we browsed quickly and left early. The only thing that caught their attention and they enjoyed was the gingerbread house when you first walk through the doors. I guess they are not quite there yet to do activities such as this. Well as for the pictures I took, as usual I forgot my nice camera and had to take pictures on my phone which the quality is awful.
The gingerbread house they liked to play in.
Cool gingerbread house that was made.
One of the nativities.

The boys went crazy over these..They wanted to ride them really bad.

On another note, I finally got all my Christmas shopping done last Friday night after work. My friends Daniel and Jacob met me in Idaho Falls and followed me around as I shopped and then we went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was amazing food or it could be that I was extremely hungry and tired from work, either way....yum! I am getting excited for Christmas, can't wait to be with family and see my little boys open their gifts. Caleb keeps telling me that Santa is coming and when he wants to open a present he will say, "Mom, it's almost 9 o'clock, Santa is coming with my present." LOL. He cracks me up. He has a thing with the time 9 o'clock. Everything is 9, "Mom, it's almost 9 o'clock, I need bath" "Mom, it's 9 o'clock, I need to go to bed" even though it's not even 7 pm. What a character. I truly enjoy listening to everything he says and each day I am amazed at what new things he has come up with.
Jesse and Ky...They both look so thrilled.

Such a cute picture...to bad its blurry.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and hope that we all remember the true meaning of Christmas.
